Yukon River Quest

What began in 1997 as a fun, historical retracing of the Gold Rush, this race has morphed into one of the top annual ultramarathon paddling races in the world. It regularly attracts paddlers from around the globe as they come to test their mettle through 715 km of remote Yukon wilderness.  With only 10 hours of mandatory rest, racers paddle from Whitehorse, through Carmacks’ (rest stop), Five Finger Rapids and celebrate their epic finish in the historic gold rush town of Dawson City.
