River Rat Paddle Challenge

The annual River Rat Paddle Challenge on our scenic Ouachita River will be held on in the Fall of each year. Proceeds will benefit Horse Assisted Therapy Services of North Louisiana, Inc. This year, the race is 7.7 miles long and includes divisions for paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks (multiple lengths/styles) for men, women, and children (See website for boat classes). This event is a fund-raiser for H.A.T.S. Horse Assisted Therapy Services of North Louisiana, Inc. provides therapeutic horsemanship instruction to people who are “differently-abled.” We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in 2009, and we are located in Calhoun, LA.
