Remington II Race

The Remington II is a 6 mile downstream race on the Oswegatchie River from Rensselaer Falls to Heuvelton, NY. The course is primarily flatwater, however there are two short sets of Class I rapids which may be run or portaged depending on the water level. An awards ceremony follows after the race. The launch is on West Front Street, Rensselaer Falls, NY. Look for the St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers banner! The race features amateur and recreational paddlers in C-1, C-2 and C-4 Canoes, K-1 and K-2 Kayaks, Standup Paddleboards and Voyageur Canoes.
