Paddle the Canals: Champlain Bicentennial

Join us for this guided paddle on the scenic Champlain Canal and Hudson River for the celebration of the Champlain Canal bicentennial.
Launch/Start: 9am at the Route 4 Rest Stop, Fort Edward, NY (1/2-mile north of Lock C6)
Take-out/Finish: 12pm at Alfred Z. Solomon Launch, Hudson Crossing Park, Schuylerville, NY
Total Distance: 4.5 miles; two locks (C5 and C6)
Lunch: 12pm at Hudson Crossing Park Pavilion, Schuylerville
Guided History Walk: 1:15-2:15pm within Hudson Crossing Park (optional)
18th Century Days Demos/Exhibits: 12-3pm at Hudson Crossing Park
Complimentary shuttle available from parking at Hudson Crossing Park to launch at Route 4 Rest Stop. Shuttles begin at 7:00am and will continue until 8:45am.
