Madrid Canoe Regatta

Madrid Canoe Regatta is a series of races held over two days in June on the Grasse River at Madrid Municipal Park, Madrid, NY. The weekend includes recreational races of 3 miles, amateur canoe and kayak races of 9 and 13 miles, as well as pro races. The pro races include a 1 mile sprint race and 9 and 16 mile marathon races. The amateur and pro marathon races include a 1/4 mile portage around the dam in Madrid. Weekend camping is available on-site free of charge.
