Gerry Blackstone Manhattan Kayak Circumnavigation

A 31 mile circumnavigation of Manhattan by kayak.

The 17th Annual Gerry Blackstone Manhattan Kayak Circumnavigation will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023 (Rain date: August 6). This annual 31-mile kayak paddle around New York’s Manhattan Island launches from Pier 40, at the west end of Houston Street in Manhattan, New York, within Hudson River Park and goes counter clockwise around Manhattan. Kayak rentals may be offered, details to follow. There will be one leisurely and meditative paced group and one moderate paced group. New this year, there will also be 1 group of sit on top kayaks. Float plans and times for the 2023 GBMKC have not been released yet
